Setting Up Ping Servers for Windows Live Writer

Here’s a quick tip to setup some servers to ping every time you publish an article with Windows Live Writer.

How to Set up Ping Servers on Windows Live Writer

Go to Tools, and choose Options and then Ping Servers. 

Enter your list of servers to Ping, hit Apply and OK.

http://rpc.pingomatic.com Note. Pingomatic hits lots of servers for you.  Use this one if you use no others!

Once you set up the Ping Servers in Windows Live Writer it will ping those servers for all of your blogs configured in Windows Live Writer!

So the next time you blog a masterpiece article talking about the latest craze like using Botox for headaches, your article and blog will have a better chance at getting the attention that they deserve! 

I hear that trephining works wonders for headaches as well, but I need that like I need a hole in the head! ;)
