Build Sitemaps for Websites Automatically with GSiteCrawler

Friday, August 31st, 2007

When I build sitemaps for websites, I like to use the program GSiteCrawler from GSiteCrawler.com.  It sends a bot through your website and then helps you build both a Google and Yahoo! friendly sitemap.

The program cruises through the building of a sitemap or even a robots.txt file for your site.

It will even connect to your site via ftp and upload the file automatically if you want to do that or you can upload the sitemap manually.

You can also create an html Sitemap file and complete many other functions as well.

Check out the Features :: GSiteCrawler

Note. I do not recommend this product for a WordPress blog.  For that, I’d recommend a plugin.
