I just installed the new version of Windows Live Writer and this is my first post with the upgraded version.

Couple quick points and tests

If you have floating ad boxes in your post and insert a table too soon, the table will write underneath the floating ad boxes.

I can not figure out what, if anything the Keywords box does.

Initially, I seem to be having difficulty finding the items that allow me to add categories on the fly or create a new page as opposed to a post.

I don’t mean to down play the seriousness of true addictions, but I must come out and admit that I am addicted to Windows Live Writer.  Its the best blogging tool I have come across next to WordPress itself (note WordPress is essentially the blogging software or content management system that runs a blog website connected to a MySQL database, while Windows Live Writer is essentially a software program that enables you to easily publish blog articles to that blog).

I have been caught up in other affairs lately and missed the fact that Windows Live Writer went through an upgrade with a new release that came available around June of 2007.  So its July 4 now and I’m just downloading the new version and getting ready to go to blog town with the upgrade.  I will definitely feature more information about the upgrade soon.  In the meantime if you too suffer from Windows Live Writer addiction, I am said to inform you that there is no drug rehabilitation centers that take care of people with WLW addiction issues.  But you can get your fix for the upgrade soon.
