Niche Diggs

We are still gathering submissions for our future article on Digg Success (and a few less than success) stories at Show Us Your Big Digg!

As a tangent, we will probably also break down components of this future article to take a look at successful niche diggs for some of the new categories in Digg.com.

Everything from the standard tech items to politics and entertainment and more.  We’re even going to take a look at some of those super niche diggs, like iPods Help Doctors Recognize Heart Problems(356 Diggs!).

Its an article about how doctors can use iPods to improve their stethoscope skills.  I’m sure iPods are not going to replace stethoscopes anytime soon, but I wouldn’t put it past Steve Jobs to find yet another way to tie his product into someone else products.  Soon, doctor’s might just see that drug rep offer for a ‘free iPod with the purchase of a new littman stethoscope.  We are talking about marketing right, so anything is possible and I’m sure it will be dugg eventually.

So if you have come across a fun or bizarre super niche digg, let us know about those too.  If you have submitted one yourself, please drop a quick link to your actual article and the digg page, we’d love to feature it.
