Concert Tickes on the Web 1.0 Primed for 2.0 Upgrade
Shortly after the inception of the internet, companies started springing up that offered concert tickets online. The web seems to follow a path where someone innovates a new line of business on the web. Then over time many companies follow suit that find ways to mimick the original.
They usually find somesimple ways to do things easier, faster, more effectively or cheaper. Like finding cheaper jimmy buffett tickets or finding a site that always delivers seats in the front row or some other specialty service.
Then eventually from this group of companies that have essentially formed a niche industry around concert tickets online, someone eventually breaks out with a new innovative way to market or package the experience in an entirely new way. From this the Internet 2.0 iteration of the web company eventually evolves.
So who will break out and offer a ticket solution to break the old mold next?
