djblogg,

I have attempted to answer your questions and provide an update on the situation in a new article titled <a href="http://www.top10tech.com/marketing/2007/05/26/blogging-risks/bloggerwave-update-fraud-slow-response-to-paypal-or-is-paypal-in-the-wrong/" rel="nofollow">Bloggerwave Update: Fraud, slow response to PayPal, or is PayPal in the Wrong?</a>.

Based on your question, I'd also encourage you to read the initial article as you seem to have missed some of the details of my experience, which led to a misunderstanding about this second article with the email from PayPal recommending that I turn Bloggerwave in for fraud.

Hello,
I work with Bloggerwave.com
I have called Paypal myself just now, confronting them with this blog and the responses to the blog. I mentioned that they have caused slander and created a bad reputation for our company Bloggerwave.

I also said that a person have called Paypal and was told that Bloggerwave had been under investigation of using a fraudulent credit card.

After this they first completely denied that they give such information to people who just call in. When I started digging into it and indicating that legal actions is necessary I got to speak with the manager, who also denied. Her name was Tina, I asked for last name and she became silent. “You can have my employee number, sir”. This is: 7124.

I said that we need to redeem our reputation after this mistake and I asked that they at least could send an email to all the people that have had payments reverted. She refused that. That is probably because they by doing so admitted to the mistake and we would actually have a solid legal case.

I got the faxnumber to their legal department, maybe I will fax they. We really would like a official paper statement that everything is in perfect order.

Anyway, we are not going to do any legal actions against them, instead we are using our time and money to paying bloggers as fast as we can. And I will personally write to the once where payment was reverted.

What is the deal? That email sais nothing. It sais : IF you fell you have become a victim....

I have received my payment from Bloggerwave TODAY - even that it is weekend. If paypal had problems with that company why do they allow payments ???

It sais that the account: payment@bloggerwave.com is a verified account. As far as I remember, in order to verify you need credit card etc.

I just dont understand the issue.
